Your daily puzzles. Your friends. One leaderboard.
Groupdle is a shared leaderboard for Wordle, Connections, Strands, Minute Cryptic and 103 more daily puzzles. Your results are logged as you play, everyone in your group is ranked each day, and the points add up over a 30-day season.
The Chrome and Firefox extension is coming soon. Until then, paste your share text after each game; it takes a few seconds.
How it works
-
Make a group
Create a group, choose which games it plays, and share the invite link. Anyone with the link can join.
-
Play as usual
Play on the games' own sites. With the browser extension, pressing a game's Share button logs the result to your group, and Wordle, Connections and Minute Cryptic are logged the moment you finish. Without it, paste the share text into Groupdle; it takes a few seconds.
-
Climb the leaderboard
Every day, each member is ranked on each game and earns points. The points add up over a 30-day season; when it ends, the winner is recorded and a new season starts with everyone back at zero.

Questions, answered
Is Groupdle free?
Yes. Groupdle is free, with no paid tier and no ads.
Which games does it score?
107 daily puzzles, and counting: Wordle, Connections, Strands and Minute Cryptic, then Quordle, Nerdle, Immaculate Grid, Worldle, Globle, Framed, Heardle and the rest of the list on this page, across 9 categories from words to geography, sport and film. A group picks any combination, and only those games count on its leaderboard.
Do I need the browser extension?
No. With the extension, every game is logged when you press its Share button, and Wordle, Connections and Minute Cryptic the moment you finish. Without it, paste the game's share text on the site; it takes a few seconds.
My game isn't on the list. Can it be added?
Usually, yes: Groupdle reads the text a game's own Share button produces, so most daily puzzles can join. Email [email protected] with a link to the game.
What does the extension read?
Only the finished-game result the page already shows you, on the game pages it supports and on Groupdle's own site. It never changes a page and collects nothing about the puzzles, your answers or your browsing.
Do I need a Google account?
No. Sign in with Google or with an email address and a password; one account can have both once you link them in Settings.
How do points work?
Every day, each member is ranked on each of the group's games. The best result earns as many points as the group has members, the next one fewer, and so on. Points add up over the day, the week, the month and a 30-day season that starts when the group is created; when a season ends, its winner is recorded and the next one starts with everyone at zero.
Which browsers does the extension support?
Chrome and Firefox. The store listings are on their way; until then, paste your share text.
Is Groupdle affiliated with the games' publishers?
No. Groupdle is an independent project, not affiliated with The New York Times, Merriam-Webster, LinkedIn, Minute Cryptic or any other publisher. Play the games on their own sites under their own terms; Groupdle only reads the result you have already been shown.
How do I delete my data?
Delete your account from Settings: your results, memberships and sign-in identity go immediately. Or email [email protected].
