The service
Groupdle keeps leaderboards for groups of friends who play daily word puzzles. It records the results you submit — by hand or through its browser extension — and ranks them within the groups you join. It is provided as is, free of charge, with no guarantee of availability; it may change or stop at any time.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account you control, or with an email address and a password. You are responsible for what is submitted under it. Submitting results you did not earn, or results on someone else’s behalf, spoils the game for everyone and may get an account removed.
Groups
Whoever creates a group owns it: they can rename it, choose its games, rotate its invite code, remove members and delete it. Anyone with an invite code can join. Leave a group at any time; your results stay yours.
The extension
The browser extension logs a puzzle you have finished on a supported game’s site: it reads the finished-game state the page already keeps in your browser (Wordle, Connections, the Minute Cryptic) or the text the game’s own Share button produces when you press it (every supported game). It never changes a page, and it runs only on the sites of the games Groupdle supports and on Groupdle’s own site. Install it from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons only.
The games
The puzzles belong to their publishers — among them The New York Times Company, Merriam-Webster, LinkedIn and Minute Cryptic Pty Ltd. Groupdle is not affiliated with any of them. Play the games on their own sites under their own terms; Groupdle only reads the result you have already been shown.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Groupdle is not liable for any loss arising from its use or unavailability. If you disagree with these terms, delete your account from Settings.
